Jane Rankin - LNNI Lead

I have been involved in the development of lymphoedema services from 1994. My Master’s project, an audit of regional services and understanding of lymphoedema 2002, was one of the triggers to cause the Chief Medical Officer to set up the formal 2004 review in which I played an integral role.

I have continually championed the lymphoedema cause at all possible opportunities and have been actively involved in related developments such as the CREST and NICE guidelines, liaising with the British Lymphology Society and organising specialist education courses, such as the Foeldi courses from 2007.

The network has continued to thrive and access to all services is now available to any patient with lymphoedema across the Province.
